Continental Carbon Australia is committed to providing a workplace free of injury, occupational illness and environmental harm for all employees, contractors, service providers, visitors and the public. Management is committed to the maintenance of the Safety, Health & Environment Management System to enable full compliance with the relevant legislation, codes of practice and standards. |

Continental Carbon Australia has operated a certified ISO 14001 Environmental Management System since May 2003. The goals of this system are Sustainable Production in order to reduce water and energy consumption, minimise waste, and promote biodiversity, while applying the precautionary principle; and Pollution Prevention in order to preserve the environment for the health, productivity, and enjoyment of current and future generations. All employees at Continental Carbon Australia exercise responsibility in the prevention of environmental harm, and injury and illness, not only to themselves but also to others who may be affected by their acts and omissions.
